2014 off to a Great Start!

    • February 21, 2014

Jim Sweeney has got off to a great start in 2014. For starters, Jim has just finished off playing Clan Chieftain Andrew McDonald in new Scottish Drama Outlander. The show is being produced by Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek: First Contact) for American TV network Starz and is due to air on Television screens internationally this Summer.

Jim also has several projects lined up for the year ahead. He will be returning to reprise his role in David P. Baker’s web series Crime Lord, which is to be shot in Glasgow and London and will be taking on a leading role for Independent feature film, Perfidy, to be shot in London.

Last year Jim performed in two short films by award winning Director John McPhail (Notes and V for Visa). After a truckload awards for John’s first films including top prizes at the Virgin Media Shorts Competition, John’s moved into in pre-production of his first feature film “Where Do We Go From Here?” Jim is currently lined up to feature in this movie, which is expected to be filmed in the summer of 2014.

Only one month in and it looks to be a busy year for Jim.
